So here's some brand new viral marketing coming to you from The Dark Knight Rises folks. It's the Gotham Observer, your number one news source for all things...Mountain Dew?
Boo. If you're going to get a sponsorship can we at least get something a little more interesting than Mountain Dew? Honestly, when was the last time you had a Dew that didn't involve you trying to make a last minute cocktail in a college dorm room? Perhaps I do not "do the dew" like I used to (I prefered Surge).

The viral campaign involves a short news paper with somewhat obvious leads in to character development and plot. Here are some assumptions and questions that the newspaper has led me to (hypotethetical spoiler alert):
-Catwoman (Selina Kyle) has been stealing diamond necklaces and can break into safes and whatnot.
-Bane (?) has been stealing things from construction sites around town.
-What is the public library going to be renamed (Dent? Batman Library)?
-Harris is a football player...not Ward like we see in the trailer?
-According to my hororscope, I have a bad temper today.
-Finally, I don't trust this Rykin Data company. Something shady is going on with them. What is the patent that they applied for? Is this part of a terrorist group or a company planning to fight Gotham's threats?
Anyway. July 20th. Be there or be square.

What are your thoughts and feelings, Gotham?
